Ep. 16. The Wind in the Willows Chapter 2

A classical Christian podcast for kids…

The following podcast includes an audiobook recording plus a discussion (geared towards primary school-aged children) of key Christian themes found in the book. We encourage parents to use this text and discussion to point their children towards the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ.

Questions to Discuss With Your Children

  1. The author says Toad is conceited. Discuss what this means in light of Proverbs 16:18: “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” Based on this verse, can anyone guess what might happen to Toad later on in this book?
  2. Is Toad a good friend? Why or why not? Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. Is Toad doing this?
